Biography

Aurelia Gonzalez, also known as Aurelia Huizar and Aurelia G Huizar, was born on 28 Sep 1920. Her parents were Juan and Delfina Gonzalez.

Aurelia married Adolfo Huizar, son of Claudio Huizar and Carolina Vasquez. Their children are Adolph Jr., Eloy, Joseph, and Sylvia.

The 1940 United States Census documented the following information: Aurelia Huizar is the wife of Adolph Huizar, head of household. She was 19 years of age and born in Texas. Her son, Adolph Huizar was one (1) year old. Event Place: Area C, San Antonio, Justice Precinct 1, Bexar, Texas, United States.[1]

Aurelia passed away on Sunday 1 Jun 2003 at the age of 82. Her husband, Claudio, had preceded her in death as well as her son Joseph Huizar, her parents Juan and Delfina Gonzalez, her brother Eloy Gonzalez and grandson Michael Huizar. She was survived by her sons Adolph Huizar, Eloy Huizar, daughter Sylvia Huizar; sisters, Lucy Chavez, Oralia Chavez, Angie Trujillo, Lupe Chavez and Elizabeth Chavez; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services was under the direction of The Angelus Funeral Home, San Antonio, Texas. On Wednesday, 4 Jun 2003 at 7:00 PM a Rosary was recited at the funeral home. A funeral Mass was offered on Thursday, 5 Jun 2003 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church. [2]
