Ann Gooch, the daughter of Major William Gooch, was born in York County, Virginia around 1655.
Major William Gooch's daughter Ann, married Captain Thomas Beale, the son of Colonel Thomas Beale and Ann. Colonial Tomas Beal was a member of the Virginia Council. [1][2]
Henry Gooch, who was also a magistrate of York county, Va., was manager of the estate of Major William Gooch, Esq., member of the Council, whose tomb is at "Temple Farm," where Cornwallis surrendered. This latter, who seems to have been an uncle of Governor William Gooch, and who died in 1655, left a daughter Ann, who married Captain Thomas Beale, of York and Richmond counties. Probably Ann Gooch, mentioned among Major Goodwin's head rights, was the wife of William Gooch, and the mother of Anne Beale.[3]
Ann Gooch Beale's first husband, Thomas Beale, died on Oct of 1679.[4] After his death, Ann married William Colston. Ann and William Colston had the following known children:

It appears to me that Southern Pioneers Project probably should not be managing/protecting this profile. She does not seem to fit the qualifications for needing Project Protection and even if she does, probably should be under US Southern Colonies Project.
Please see Gooch-711. That profile has exact same spouse as this one, and there is son William on both profiles with exact same spouse, but the father is different.
If these are two different people then the father is wrong on one.
If these are same people with details that need to be updated please work towards merge.

Gooch-969 and Gooch-711 appear to represent the same person because: Clear Duplicate. Gooch-711 should never have been made private. She was born about 1655
