Biography
Clarissa Goodell, daughter of David and Caroline (Brown) Goodell, was born about 1841 in New York State.[1][2] By 1850 the family had moved to Novi, Oakland, Michigan, United States.[1]
Clarissa Goodell married Horace W. VanLuven on 19 October 1856 in Oakland, Michigan, United States.[3] They had a daughter, Caroline Orilla (Van Luven) Laphan.[4]
Clarissa Goodell married Delos Morton on 17 April 1865 in Oakland, Michigan, United States.[5] Their children were:
- Lillian May (Morton) Westphal (1866-1947)[6]
- Elizabeth Morton (1871 - 1872)[7][8]
- Della (Morton) Pitre (1877 - 1936)
