Biography

Israel Goodfellow was born in New York State in November 1846 to Abram and Jane Goodfellow.

He married Lillian VanValkenburgh on 27 Dec 1876 in the Town of Guilderland. They had four children - Bertha L., Charles Worthington, Laura V., and Della May.

He owned a farm in Guilderland until buying a farm and moving to Berne, sometime between 1892 and 1900.

He and Lillian moved to the home of their daughter Della May and her husband Eldon E Quay in Knox sometime between 1920 and 1930.

He died on 22 Nov 1930 at the age of 84 and is buried in the family plot in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland.
