Biography

Floyd Crockett Goodgame was born in 1807 in Georgia, USA, son of John Chapman Goodgame Sr. (~1777 - 1846) and Sarah Elizabeth (Crockett) Goodgame (1780 - 1853).

His siblings were:

  1. James Alexander Goodgame (1799 - 1881)
  2. John Crockett Goodgame (1801 - 1889)
  3. Eliza Glidger (Goodgame) Beaird (1803 - 1852)
  4. William Augustus Goodgame (1810 - )

Floyd married Ester Wood (1804 - 1834) on 3 May 1828 in Colquitt, Georgia. Their children were:

  1. James Allen Goodgame (~1829 - 1869)
  2. John Anderson Goodgame (1832 - 1911)
  3. Joshua Monroe Goodgame (1834 - 1834).

Floyd married Huldah T. Crowson (1807 - 1873) on 30 Jan 1837 in Talladega, Alabama, United States.

Floyd died in 1869 in Henderson County, Texas aged ~62. He is buried in Goodgame Cemetery, Athens, Henderson County, Texas, USA.
