Biography
John was born in 1829 in Hawkins County, Tennessee, USA. He was the son of John Goodin and Sarah Montgomery.[1]
In 1850 John was living in District 1, Hardin, Kentucky. Age: 19[1]
John Goodin (?Goodwin/Gooding/Gooden, age 22, single, of Russell) married Sarah Chapman (single, age 21, of Russell, born Russell) on 21 Oct 1852 at Rowan, Kentucky. [2] They were the parents of Nathan, Cynthia, Clayton, Mary J., Hattie, Nancy, Ermine, Granville, William, Mary E. and Sarah.
In 1860 John was living in District 4, Casey, Kentucky.[3][4]
