Biography

William Goodman was born in Ontario in 1865, son of Henry L. Goodman and Emma Jane Ely. In 1871 he was with his parents in Ameliasburgh Township, Prince Edward County. In 1888, then a farmer in Shannonville, he married Harriet Winifred Peterson. In 1891 they lived in Fredericksburgh ,Lennox County. In 1901 they farmed with his father in Adolphustown, Concession 5 Lot 13, with their son William. In 1911 they were in South Fredericksburgh and in 1921 in North Fredericksburgh. William Sr. died in 1933 and was buried at Riverview Cemetery, Napanee, Lennox County.

Note

In 1921 father Henry was with William's son William Henry in Adolphustown.
