Edwin Arthur Goodman was the pilot of a Lancaster DV360 EM-U and was killed in action as part of the Wesseling Raid at the age of 22. He was part of 2323 RAF Spilsby of the 207 Squadron and crashed east of the Wehebach Stausee and between the villages of Grosshau & Kleinhau, 10km SSW of Duren, Germany. P/O Goodman came from Johannesburg and F/S Evans enlisted in Africa. He is buried in the Rheinberg War Cemetery, Germany together with the rest of his crew that were killed in action:
