Andrew Goodman was a part of the US Civil Rights Movement.


Andrew was born in 1943. He passed away in 1964.

Andrew Goodman was one of three American activists of the Civil Rights Movement and also a social worker, murdered near Philadelphia, Mississippi, during Freedom Summer in 1964 by members of the Ku Klux Klan. The other two were Michael Schwermer and James Chaney. The Imperial Wizard of the KKK, Samuel Bowers, was convicted of civil rights violations in the case.
