Biography
Rachel was born in 1814. On June 22, 1841 she married Wayman Wolfe in Smyth, Virginia. The couple are listed together on both: the 1850 Census (in Lee, Virginia)[1] and the 1860 Census (in Hancock, Tennessee).[2] Her husband passed away in 1865 and she is listed as widowed on the 1870 Census with six of their eight children in the same area of Hancock, Tennessee.[3] She is listed in the home of their son; Henry on the 1880 Census.[4] She passed away in 1892.[5]
