Emily Goodrich was born on November 13, 1805, in Ridgefield, Fairfield, Connecticut, USA. She was the daughter of Rev. Samuel Goodrich and Elizabeth Ely (this is the second daughter named Emily). ^[1]

She married Darius Mead on May 08, 1833, in Greenwich, Connecticut. Together they had 5 children:
