Capt Jeremiah Goodrich served during the French and Indian War.
Jeremiah Goodrich was born September 9, 1709 to David Goodrich and Prudence Churchill. He first married Ruth Kimberly on July 6, 1732 in Wethersfield, Connecticut. His second marriage was to Prudence (Sage) Stow Savage Gilbert Gould in 1779.[1]
He served in the French and Indian War as a captain of Connecticut’s 8th Company of the 6th Regiment in 1745 and was part of the campaign of 1757.[2]
Jeremiah passed away May 8, 1793. He was buried in Portland Burying Ground, Portland, MIddlesex, Connecticut.[3][4][5][6]
