Biography

Mary "Polly" Goodson, daughter of Thomas Goodson and Elizabeth (Poage) Goodson , was born 13 August 1801 in Virginia. [1]

She married Matthew Sandefur at Turtle Rock in Floyd County, under bond there dated 30 September 1837. [2] [3] They had daughter, Elizabeth Jane Sandefur, born about 1839. Matthew passed away in 1844 (his Will was proved in March 1844 in Floyd County).

She died sometime after 7 June 1860 (Census enumeration date).
