On October 24, 1926, Francis Marion Goodson, widowed, died at the age of 65 in Vernon, Lamar, Alabama. He was the husband of Marry Isabell Goodson. His father, who was born in Ireland, was a farmer. He was buried in Smith Cemetery on October 25, 1926.[2]
