Biography

Clara (Goodwin) Homburg was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Clara May Goodwin was born 4 June 1868 at LeFevre Peninsula, South Australia. She was the daughter of Thomas Goodwin and Ann Munyard[1]

She married Julius Frederick William Homburg on the 8 January 1896 at Holy Trinity Church, Adelaide. Witnesses were her brother Henry Goodwin and his future wife Elsie Wallis. [2] [3]

Clara passed away age 79 on 20 June 1946 [4] and was buried 21 June 1946 at the Magill Cemetery. [5]

HOMBURG. On June 20, at her late residence, Magill road, Magill, Clara, relict of Julius Frederick William Homburg, and loving mother of Gladys (Mrs. Gordon), Dulcie (Mrs. Lunney), Max and Eunice (Mrs. Uren), and devoted grandma of John, Barry, Maureen, Nancy, Allan and Eril. Aged 79 years. [6]
