Biography

There is very little information about Adam Goodwin, who was born at Kittery, Maine, c1703, the son of William Goodwin and Deliverance Taylor. [1] He had a first wife named Sarah, whose identity has not been established. [1] [2] By this wife he had at least seven children, including a daughter, Sarah, who married Moses Butler. [2]

Adam married (2) Mehitable Thompson [1] on 12 jan 1743/44, and they had two known children, Ephraim Goodwin and Susanna Amy Goodwin, [2]
