Biography

There is no evidence that her surname was Goodwith or Goodith.

Joan Nicholes filed a bond to administer the intestate estate of her husband John Nicholes on 26 August 1597.[1]

She was buried at Sedgeberrow 29 November 1627, as widow and "once the wife of John Nicholes."[1]

I believe that this profile is confused. I have written a proper sourced bio, for the wife of John Nichols.

First there is no indication that she married William Nichols, only John. William should be removed. Second there is no valid source for the surname Goowith and her Last name at birth should be changed to Unknown. The Old bio referring to her migration to virginia should be removed. Objections?

Data indicates that Joan (Goodwith) Nichols ded in November of 1627 in Worcestershire , England while biography indicates she arrived in Virginia in 1657, approximately 30 years after her death.
