Robert Gordon was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Robert George "Bobby" Gordon, son of Alexander Gordon and Fanny McKinnon, was born on 16 May 1888 at Hill RIver, near Clare, South Australia. ^{[1] [2]}

"Bobby" (age 24, single, son of Alexander Gordon) married Jessie Merle Harrod (age 23, Single, daughter of Thomas Herman Harrod) on 12 Nov 1912, at the Methodist Church Watchman, at Gilbert, SA. ^[3] Bobby and Jessie had (at least) 6 children:
