I was born March 11, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland. My father, Ralph Gordon, died on April 4, 1955. Due to the death of my father, my mother and I moved back to Henderson, NC to live with my mother's mom and dad. I was very active in the music program at First Baptist/Henderson as well as being in the band and chorus in school. I graduated from Vance Senior High School in 1973. I attended both University of North Carolina/Greensboro as well as Campbell College (Now Campbell University) where I was a vocal major. I worked at Burrage Music Company from 1979 to 2002. I met my husband, Craig Galligher, and moved to Montgomery, Pa. in May of 2002. I worked at Sides Music as well as American Customer Care until I retired in July of 2017. The fall of 2018, we sold our house in Montgomery and moved to Williamsport, Pa. Craig and I live a quiet life with our two Boston Terriers. Since the last posting, one of our Bostons died. Our little Dixie's sweet little heart just gave out. We miss her so much. Since my last posting, I lost my sweet husband, Craig , who died on May 31, 2022 and my Jay, my last Boston, died August 10, 2022. I needed something to fill my empty house, so I adopted a 1 1/2 year old cat , Lucy.
