Biography

Lovell Henry "Harry" Gordon was born on the 1st July 1872 in the Macleay River district of New South Wales, Australia, the eldest son of Meldrum Henry Gordon and Annie née Berry.^[1]

He married Elizabeth Francis Alcorn on the 8th April 1908, in Bellingen, New South Wales,^[2] subsequently having seven known children, three sons and four daughters:

Mr. Lovell Henry Gordon, 69, who died in Bellingen Hospital last weekend, was a son of the late Mr. M. H. Gordon, who went to the Bellinger 75 years ago. Gordonville was named after the family.^[4]
