Edith was born in 1904. She was the daughter of William Gordon and Annie Meyer.[1]
She passed away on the 30th December, 1910 - along with her older sister Annie from dysentery.[2]
They are buried together at the Coonamble Cemetery.
SAD DEATHS. Towards the end of last week two of the children of Mr. W, G. Gordon or Norwood, were taken ill, suffering from the dysentery epidemic which has been so prevalent in that district lately, and were being conveyed to Coonamble by their father for medical treatment. When near Coonamble the eldest one, a girl aged, ten, died, and on the afternoon of the same day (Friday) the other child, a girl aged six, who was being attended to by Dr Bertram, also passed away, despite the best efforts of medical aid.[1]
