Biography

Euphemia (Gordon) McCallum was an Assisted Immigrant to New South Wales.

Euphemia (Euphan) Gordon was born on 25 February 1810. She was the daughter of Thomas Gordon and Catherine Robertson. [1]

Euphemia married Alexander MacCallum on 30 September 1836 at Auchtergarven, Perthshire. [2]

She was living with her husband and 5 sons at Strathmiglio, Fife in 1851. [3]

Euphemia and Alexander immigrated to New South Wales in 1855 on the 'Golden Era', with four of their sons. [4]

Euphemia died at the age of 80 on 8 April 1888 at Ulmarra, New South Wales. [5][6]
