Biography
Elizabeth Gordon is a member of Clan Gordon.
Isabel (or Elizabeth) was the daughter of James Gordon of Methlic and Kelly.[1][2]
She married John Allardyce.[3][4][5]
Research Notes
- Scot Peerage and the older Peerage of Scotland reveal that Canea Harper was the grandmother, not wife, of Elizabeth's father James. Other sources conflate her father with his grandfather also named James and omit the generation between the two (Parick Gordon who died at the Battle of Brechin).
