Biography
James was married three times. First to Suesanna Buxton, second to a widow, [Keziah Gordon}, and third to Sarah "Sallie" Duren. By Suesanna, James had the following children, Lydia, Judah, William, Jemima, Sarah, and Absalom (my ggg-grandfather Kenneth Rorie James had no children from his second marriage, and one daughter, Louvina, by. his third wife.
Following Suesanna's death, he married Keziah Gordon. The records show no children.
