There was black named Nellie Gore (age 60 and b. in SC) and another black female named S.A. Gore (age 22 and b. in SC) in the household. Wm. D. Cross (age 72 and b. in KY) is listed on the same page of the census.


William C. Cross (age 57 and b. in TN) was head of a household in the 1880 census for Calhoun Co., AL. His wife Roda (age 61 and b. in SC) was living with him. He was listed on the same page of the census with Andrew J. Cross (age 42 and b. in AL).
