Biography

Edward T. Gorman was born on 29 October 1897, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Patrick Gorman and Margaret Kerr. [1][2]

On 30 June 1926, he married Elizabeth Jane Sampson.. They both lived at 3154 Custer(sp?) Street, Philadelphia. [1] They had at least two children. [2]

He had a furniture store on Frankford Avenue for more than 40 years. He retired about 1963. [2]

On 30 December 1972, he died, of a stroke, at Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was buried on 4 January 1973, in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [2]
