Norman Chester Gorman was born on January 21, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of Chester and Anna (Janca) Forman. He married Geraldine Veronica Walerski about 1954 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. They had three daughters during their marriage. He died on April 16, 1998, in Cape Coral, Florida, at the age of 69.
