Bridget was born about 1831 in County Clare to Ellen and Arthur[1]. She immigrated to NSW age 5, travelling with her mother Ellen Smyth [2]
She married Richard Yardy.
She passed away in 1907. [4] [5]
Death. — The death occurred on Thursday last, at her residence, Bandon Grove, of Mrs Bridget Yardy, aged 76, a very old resident of the district, senile decay being the cause. Deceased, and her husband were among the early settlers of the river, having lived on the Williams the greater part of their lives. Her remains were interred in the Church of England portion of the Bendolba cemetery, the Rev. F. A. Cadell performing the burial service. She leaves two daughters, Mrs Ikin (Bandon Grove), Mrs Kennedy (Fosterton), and one son, Mr. J. Yardy (Bandon Grove). We tender them our sincere sympathy.[3]
