Hugh was born about 1834. He was the son of Patrick Gorman and Ann Woods. He passed away in 1907.

Mr. Hugh Gorman:Buried Another landmark has disappeared in the person of Mr. Hugh Gorman of Buckingham Township, on the West side of the River, who passed away 1st Saturday, in the 75th year of his age. Deceased had been ill for some months but had only been in bed four days , though he had been under medical attendance for a couple of months previous to his death. Mr. Gorman was a son of the late Mr. P. P. Gorman of Glen Almond. His wife survives, as do also his sons, Messrs Francis and Hugh and his daughter miss Emma. Deceased was a brother of Messrs. Patrick Gorman of Glen Almond; John Gorman of Southern Dakota, and James Gorman of Ottawa, and also of Mrs. James Cosgrove, Mrs. W.F. Smith and Mrs. Michael Burke of Buckingham and Mrs. John Quinn of Glen Almond. The funeral of the deceased took place Monday, 3rd to St. Gregory's Church, thence to the R.C. Cemetery, a large number of friends following the remains to their last resting place. The pall bearers were: Messrs Sam McFaul, Allan McMillan, Michael Cooper, Cyprien Laframboise, Jos. Page, and David Neilon. The many friends of the family sympathize with the bereaved family.
