Biography
Emma was John Franklin's 1st wife. Her parents are James Garnham and Elizabeth Smith It was believed that she and their son Frank died of influenza, but it has been discovered that Emma died of Typhoid in 1908. Their son died from an accidental drowning while skating in Dec of 1907. After Emma's death, John followed his parents and siblings to Glenboro, Manitoba.
