Karen was the daughter of Charles Gorski and Margaret Adams.[1][2] She was born April 10, 1945[3] in St. Louis, Missouri.
She studied history at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.[2] During Karen's second year of college, she died due to injuries sustained in a car crash. Her boyfriend[4], Cary Schildkraut, was killed on impact.[2]
Karen is buried in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mount Healthy, Ohio.[3]
