Biography

Benjamin Gorsline was born February 11, 1820 in New York, the son of Samuel Gorsline.

Siblings were:

  • Alexander L. Gorsline (d. 1921)
  • John Gorsline (1823 - 1902)
  • Sarah Gorsline (1829-1901)
  • Mary Gorsline (1831-1912)
  • Sylvester H. Gorsline (1838-1898)


Benjamin married Eliza Dinge.

Children were:

  • John Gorsline (1852–1891)
  • Moses Dinge Gorsline (1866-1932)


Benjamin died July 11, 1890 and was buried at the Rosendale Plains Cemetery in Tilson, Ulster County, New York.[1][2]
