Oebele (Egberts) Gorter is geboren in Friesland in 1792
Uble was born as Oebele Egberts on 16 june 1792, the son of Egbert Jans] and [Jans-2984|Lutske Jans. He was baptized in Gorredijk 8 july . His father took in 1811 as familyname 'Gorter' At that moment his name changed to Uble Gorter He maried 14 may 1814, Gorredijk, [Fokkema-1|Trijntje Jans Fockema[3].
He died 27 may 1836[4].
