Biography

Chester worked as a banker.^[1] He graduated college in 1906 from Simpson College with a Bachelor of Science degree.^[2]

He was born 24 September 1883 in Pleasantville, Iowa.^[3] He married Edna Edith Shawver 30 November 1912 in Pleasantville.^[4] Their son, Charles Chester Gose, who later became known as the stage actor Scott McKay, was born 1915 in Pleasantville.^[5] Their daughter Margaret was born 1920 in the same place. Their daughter Betty was born in 1924. Chester's death came 7 November 1963 in Dallas at the age of 80.
