Ann Goss was born on 27 May 1827, in Bideford, Devon, England. Her parents were listed as Henry (Occupation: Mason) and Elizabeth GOSS. [1]

Ann GOSS arrived in South Australia on 6th Sep 1840 aboard the ship "Lysander" (from London via Plymouth 40-05-29) with her family (GOSS Henry, wife, Ann, Eliz, Mary Grace, Eliza, Wm Hy). [2]

Ann GOSS (age 21) married William MILLER (age 30) on 9 May 1848, at Res of groom, Pirie St, Ade. [3]

Ann Miller died on 8 Sep 1882, at Norwood, SA, aged 55. Her husband William was listed on her death registration. [4] Her death was reported in the Christian Colonist (SA : 1878 - 1894) Fri 22 Sep 1882 Page 2 Family Notices: [5]

DEATH.
MILLER.—On September 8, at her residence, Coke street, Norwood, of apoplexy, Ann, the beloved wife of William Miller, eldest daughter of Mr. Hy. Goss, Payneham, and mother of Mrs. T. Skews, Port Adelaide, aged 55 years.
She sleeps in Jesus.
