Gladys was born in Bedminster, Somerset, England, on March 31, 1897. She was the daughter of George Goss and Martha Overbury. She was enumerated in the 1901 census as a four year old residing with her parents and one sibling on Wydham Street, Barry, Glamorganshire, Wales. Her father was a "Manager Grocer". The family was living at 31 St Johns Rd, Leamington, Warwickshire, in 1911.
Gladys married Frank P. Biffen in 1919. The marriage was registered in the second quarter in Warwick, Warwickshire, England. It is unknown if the couple had children. Gladys and Frank appeared in the 1939 Register residing at 15 Jury Street, Warwick. No children at home. Her occupation "Milliner".
Gladys passed away in 1975. Her death was registered in the third quarter in Warwick and Leamington, Warwickshire.
