Biography

Albert Goss was born in 1887 in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. He is the son of George Goss and Bassie (Unknown) Goss.

In the England and Wales Census of 1891 he is age 5, living in Swansea with his father George (age 32), a Grocer's Assistant, mother Bessie (age 32), and sister Minnie L. (age 8).

In the England and Wales Census of 1901 he is age 14, an Errand Boy, living in Swansea with his father George (age 42), a Tin Decorator, mother Bessie (age 40), sister Minnie L. (age 18), brother Stanley (age 12), brother Arthur J. (age 10), brother George T. (age 8), brother Ivor J. (age 5), and infant sister Maud M.

In the England and Wales Census of 1911 he is age 24, single, a Chauffer, living in Swansea with his father George (age 52), a Tin Japanner, mother Bessie (age 50), sister Minnie (age 28), brother Stanley (age 22), brother George (age 18), brother Ivor (age 15), sister Alice (age 10), and brother Alfred (age 8).

In 1914 he married Martha Ann Williams in Swansea.

He passed away in 1957, in Swansea, at the age of 70.
