Biography
When Sylvia Dovie Goss was born on December 28, 1906, in Addington, Oklahoma, her father, John, was 35, and her mother, Della, was 29. She married Jessie Lee Downey (1901–1961) on October 8, 1927 in Jefferson County, Oklahoma.[1] She died on February 19, 1982,[2] in Duncan, Oklahoma, at the age of 75, and was buried there.[3]
