Rose Mary Gosse was born in Newfoundland on 2 October 1893 to John Gosse and Providence Hutchings. She married Malcolm Penney on 15 August 1918 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.[1] They had 8 known children. Rose died of arteriosclerosis on 9 November 1964 in Freeport, Texas.[2] She is buried at Restwood Memorial Park in Clute, Texas.[3] She was 71 years old.
