Biography

Richard (Dick) Josiah GOSSE was born on 20 January 1894 in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, his father, Richard Gosse, was 41 and his mother, Clarimond Gosse, was 37.

He married Annabelle Maude (Fraser) Hill (1894-1976) and they had one son together. Richard and Annabella divorced prior to 1941. Annabella died on 7 March 1976.[1]

He then married Elynor (Foster) Gosse (1902-) and they had one son together.

He died on 16 February 1956 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at the age of 62.

WW1; was with Gosse-Millard Packing Co., when the firm amalgamated with BC Packers in 1928 he became managing Director; resigned in 1931 and became Managing Director of BC Ice and Cold Storage Co. Ltd., President of Gosse Consultants Ltd. and Trans Canada Freezers Ltd., survived by wife and two sons, Richard at Kitimat and Jack of Fraser Valley. Cor 222 provides his birthdate and place (I had Vancouver abt 1893) and deathday; attended King Edward School in Vancouver; he was a business executive.
