Biography

Pierre was born 28 Jun 1756. He was the son of François Gosselin and Angélique Fortier. He was baptized the same day in St-Charles-de-Bellechasse, godparents were Antoine Paquet (signature) and Marie Héli. ^[1]

On 24 Feb 1778, in St-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Pierre Gosselin son of François Gosselin and Angélique Fortier married Louise Audet daughter of Louis Audet and Angelique Drapeau. Witnesses include both fathers, no signatures. ^[2]

Pierre Gosselin, 90 year old widower of Louise Audet dite Lapointe died 26 Apr 1835. He was buried the next day in St-Roch-de-Québec. ^[3]
