Marie was born on 4 Nov 1813 in Sts-Gervais-et-Protais, the daughter of Laurent Gosselin and Angélique Chatigny, and twin of Julienne Gosselin. She was baptised the same day with François Dupond and Marie Lemarrier standing as godparents^[1].
