Biography

Helen Gertrude Gotshall was born on August 14, 1891, in Noble, Cass County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Alvah Gotshall and Samantha Lowman. She married Walter Heppe on June 21, 1916, in Logansport, Indiana. They had one child during their marriage. She died on January 3, 1987, in Flora, Indiana, at the age of 95, and was buried in Logansport, Indiana.

Helen G. Heppe, 95, of 2512 E. Broadway, died at 3:20 a.m. Saturday in the Brethren Home at Flora.

Born Aug. 14, 1891, in Noble Township, Cass County, she was the daughter of Alvah S. and Samantha Lowman Gotshall. She was married June 21, 1916, in Logansport, to Walter Heppe, who died Dec. 7, 1972.

She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and Fidelity Chapter 58, Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane Sharp, 2512 E. Broadway; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
