Biography
Robert Gotts was born in Swaffham, Norfolk and baptised there on 12 May 1839, the son of Robert Gotts and Susan Paget [1] His birth was registered in the Swaffham district in the second quarter of 1839; his mother's maiden name was Paget.[2]
The 1841 census showed Robert and his parents living in Theatre Lane, Swaffham, Norfolk:

In 1851, Robert was staying with his aunt in Swaffham, Norfolk:

- Robert Gotts Nephew M 11 Swaffham, Norfolk [4]
