Robert Gotts was born in Swaffham, Norfolk and baptised there on 12 May 1839, the son of Robert Gotts and Susan Paget [1] His birth was registered in the Swaffham district in the second quarter of 1839; his mother's maiden name was Paget.[2]
The 1841 census showed Robert and his parents living in Theatre Lane, Swaffham, Norfolk:
Robert died in Huron, Michigan on 8 October 1920, his parents names were given as Robert Gotts and Susan Padget [5]
