First hand information as researched by Dr. Ana Oquendo Pabón from Wesley's daughter, Alice Hazel Gotts and her son, Donald S. Shaw (my children's paternal grandfather).
Biography
Wesley James was born in 1874. He was the son of Robert Gotts and Hannah L. Davidson.[1]
Wesley James Gotts married Ethel Hogan February 15, 1899, in Bad Axe, Huron County, Michigan, USA.[2][3] They first lived in Meade Township in Huron County.[4]
The 1910 census taken in Detroit Ward 9, Wayne, Michigan, United States, showed Wesley, his wife Ethel and their children:

Harold C Gotts Son M 1 Michigan [5] They were back in Bad Axe in 1918, when he was a telephone lineman for the Michigan State Telephone Company.[6]
Wesley James Gotts passed away June 28, 1964.[7] He was buried in plot EAST 23 3 of Colfax Cemetery in Bad Axe, Huron County, Michigan, USA.[8]
