Catherine Gottschall was born in 1806, daughter of Peter Gottschall (1784–1825) and Elizabeth Unknown (~1784– ).
Catherine married David W Shellhammer (born on September 8, 1805 in Briar Creek, Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA; son of George John (Shellhammer) Schellhammer III and Catherine (Feit) Schellhammer). Their children were:
Catherine died on October 26, 1885 in Black Creek, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 78. She was buried in Red Rock Cemetery, Red Rock, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.[1]
