Biography
Florence Mary Harris Gough was baptized on 9 Jun 1872 in St Margaret, Toxteth Park, Lancashire, England. She was the daughter of Edwin Gough and Mary Ann Laycock.[1][2][3][4]
In the 1881 England census, F M Gough (8, born Chester [near Liverpool]) was living in Everton, Lancashire, with her parents Edwin Gough (41) and Mary A Gough (29), and siblings W E M (10), M B (6), P F R (4), V E (1), and with W H Laycock (21) and Agnes Laycock (18).[2]
In the 1891 England census, Florence M Gough (19, born Liverpool) was living in Everton, with her parents Edwin Gough (32) and Mary A Gough (40), and children William E M (21), Maude B (15), Percy F R (13), Violet E (11), John B (8) and Ernest V J (6).[3] (Note her father is listed in census as 32; this must be a census error as he would be about 52.)
In the 1901 England census, Florence M Gough (29, born Liverpool) was living in Everton, with her mother Mary Ann gough (51) and siblings William (31), Maud (25), Violet (21), John (19) and Ernest (16). She was a stationer's assistant.[4]
