From the 1880 census records for surviving children of John BROWN and Lydia GOULD, John was born in Maine. I suspect he is brother to William BROWN (Brown-81767). I suspect Minnie Harriet WADE was adopted by Randal and Harriet (BROWN) RUDE. If Harriet and Sophronia (BROWN) HARMS were cousins, this could be how Minnie WADE met and married Otis HARMS.
