Record lists mother's name listed as "Mary". Currently not listing father as uncertain.
Research Notes
Jacob Gould had been attached as the son of Thomas Gould (abt.1607-1675) of Charlestown. But Jacob is not shown to be a member of that Charlestown family.[1][2]
Jacob is otherwise reported to have been the son of Thomas Gould (-1662) of Cambridge and Boston. See the 1895 sketch of "Thomas Gould of Boston" by Benjamin Apthorp Gould.[3]

Unless there is an objection, I plan to attached Jacob as the son of Thomas Gould/Gold, Thomas Gould (-1662). This is the association called out by Benjamin Apthorp Gould in 1895.
