Moriah marries Lucy Emery on June 8, 1780. Lucy, daughter of Zachariah Emery and Esther Stevens, was born April 28, 1756 in Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay.

Private Moriah Gould served Massachusetts during the American Revolution in Capts. Henry Farwell, Joseph Moore in Col. William Prescott's Massachusetts Regiment.

Moriah dies on September 7, 1825, Lucy dies on January 3, 1846, both in Norridgewock, Somerset County, Maine, United States.
